The retail division marked Al Rawabi's first major step into consumer-facing business, laying the groundwork for what would become Rawabi Hypermarket — a household name across Qatar.
Al Rawabi entered the food and beverage sector, beginning a journey that would produce beloved brands including Hot Chicken — a Qatar institution renowned for its signature fried chicken since 1991.
The wholesale division united Qatar's wholesale world, offering retailers, foodservice operators, and bulk buyers access to essential goods at competitive prices through a precision-driven supply chain.

On March 2, 2023, the grand opening of the Izghawa flagship store brought 120,000 sq. ft. of retail brilliance with 26 checkouts, 500+ parking bays, R-Café, and the welcoming Ahlan Lounge.
