Rawabi Group of Companies proudly inaugurated "The Great Indian Festival" at Rawabi Hypermarket Izghawa on August 15, 2024, in celebration of the 78th Independence Day of India. The vibrant celebration was officially inaugurated by Shri Eish Singhal, First Secretary at the Embassy of India in Qatar, and Mr. K.P. Ashraf, Vice President of the Indian Business and Professional Council (IBPC) Qatar. They were warmly welcomed by Mr. Kannu Baker, General Manager of Al Rawabi Group, alongside key members of the Rawabi team, including Mr. Ismail VP ' Purchase Manager, Mr. Rayees EM ' Admin Manager, Mr. Shanavas Raja Salim ' HR Manager, Mr. Navas KP ' Asst. Finance Manager, and Mr. Sajith EP ' Asst. Marketing Manager, along with other distinguished guests.
The Great Indian Festival aims to celebrate and showcase the rich cultural heritage of India, providing shoppers with a unique and immersive experience. Rawabi Hypermarket has been transformed into an "Indian Street," a bazaar-like setting where every corner highlights the vibrancy of India. The festival features over 700 Indian products, with special displays dedicated to a variety of items. A "Food Bazar" within the hypermarket offers a taste of India with traditional cuisines and popular street foods. Additionally, the event includes a significant showcase of millet and millet-based products, emphasizing the health benefits of these organic grains.
Shri Eish Singhal, First Secretary at the Embassy of India in Qatar, expressed his admiration for the festival, stating, "Rawabi has beautifully adorned the store with tricolor displays for all Indian products.
